We are delighted you are considering offering some of us a kind and loving home.

Aunty Louise wants us to settle well into our new home
and offers everyone ongoing advice and support (before, during and after the adoption process).

After all, we are totally dependant on our new family for everything…. day in, day out, whatever the weather, for years ahead! We hope you will enjoy looking after us and keeping us company.

If you would like any further information on any of us please just email Aunty Louise or give her a call. Visitors to see us are most welcome of course, but as she’s incredibly busy pampering us it’s important you make an appointment first. She’ll answer all the questions you have when you visit too. Home visits are undertaken in all cases, which gives Aunty Louise a chance to see the hutches and homes we will be living in and ensures we will be settled quickly and happily. It is also an opportunity for her to ask questions and find out if we are the right pets for you and you are the right people for us. As rescue animals it’s very important that we find our forever home. Aunty Louise understands that it is an exciting time for you too and does her very best to get through the adoption process quickly and of course it is in our best interests too that we are with our own families as soon as possible. All enquiries are dealt with quickly and everything possible is done to make the process a pleasant experience for all parties.

We are, of course, looking forward to being part of your family but we may be a bit nervous to start with as we are in a strange environment and its scary being on unfamiliar territory. We may want to hide and ignore everyone! Please give us time and we will get used to all the different sights, sounds and smells and in a couple of weeks we should start to relax and enjoy your company. Picking us up little and often will help us to get used to all the family.

We are sociable creatures and adore company – that of humans as well as other piggies. With gentle and kind handling we will become quite tame and we look forward to a long and happy life with you, enjoying a nice spacious home, a healthy diet, plenty of exercise and of course lots of love and attention. We may be small but are great characters, love us and we will love you right back! Once you get to know us you’ll wonder how you ever managed without us.

Aunty Louise is always available for help and advice but if you have any immediate health concerns you must take us to your vet as soon as possible. Please remember that if you find that in future, for whatever reason, you are unable to care for us any longer we MUST be returned to Aunty Louise at Little Brambles Guinea Pig Rescue.

LBGPR are always happy to receive updates via email on our progress, the address is mosscrew@talk21.com.

Please use the shopping list to ensure you have everything ready for our arrival. If you would like advice please contact the rescue. All guinea pigs adopted from Little Brambles will be brought to your home by Louise of LBGPR.

(Please note that, generally, Little Brambles only rehomes in the Devon Area. )
